This is the place for all things healing! In this guide, you will find a list of commonly used medicinal plants, where to find them, and how to mix them so that healing can be a breeze!

Shaman Branch Levels

Ihv | Ihv I | Ihv II | Ihv III | IHV

Ihv - members of this rank are at the beginning level of the Shaman branch. When new members join or a pup reaches 8 months of age, this is the level they will start out as if they choose to follow the healing path. They are to learn from their highers, and do simple tasks, like healing minor wounds, going out to collect basic medicinal plants, and tending to the sick.

Duties
- forage for healing plants and collect necessary tools
- heal wounds and take care of sick pack mates
- assist in births if needed
- tend to strangers who need medical assistance

How to Rank Up

  • Heal

Its not hard to tell that healing your pack mates from wounds or illness is the primary way to rank up. When called upon, the healer will take the necessary steps to heal the ones who need it, such as using the correct herbs, making the correct pastes/mixtures for particular injuries or illnesses, and making sure that your patients wait an appropriate amount of time before getting back to work again. Healing is a very complex job, requiring the healers to know exactly what needs to be done at the right times. If things aren't done in the right way, the patients will suffer, and this isn't something we want to see. It helps if healers and shamans ask if anyone needs healing when they come online to make sure that everyone is checked up on of needed!

  • Collect Herbs and Medicinal Plants

Not only is this essential to be able to heal others, but it is a great way to rank up! This guide will feature the best places to find certain herbs and how to store them.

  • Be Detailed!

As you advance in the Shaman Branch, your heals will need to be more and more detailed and precise. Expect many screenshots during even a simple heal! We want to see you getting better and better as you learn.

  • Collect tools

Without the necessary tools like stone bowls, rocks, and shells, you wouldn't be able to make pastes needed for certain ailments and wounds. These tools can also hold water, herbs, and anything else a healer may need. Shells and rounded stones can be found on the beach or in the forests.

Ihv I & Ihv II - at these levels, you will be expected to do a lot more than what you have been. You'll be expected to heal as much as you can. Take the initiative to heal others, as well as collect herbs and tools that you will need. You'll be gaining more advanced knowledge on how to heal, where to find your supplies, and what is expected of you. We will be looking for a lot of improvement at these levels in order for you to be able to rank up to level III, and begin to train others.

Ihv III - finally, you've reached level III! This is an advanced tier, allowing you to share your knowledge with lower-ranked healers. You'll take on a lot more responsibility on top of your normal routines, and we'll be monitoring you on your progress to see if you are ready to become a Shaman. You'll work more independently now as well, which means that we wont have to ask you to heal others or do your other duties. This will be something you're expected to do without being prompted first This shows that you're dedicated and responsible.

IHV - So, you've become a Shaman. This is the highest level of healing there is, and by now you'll have extensive knowledge of healing even the most complex of wounds. You'll be able to quickly identify certain ailments, you'll know which herbs do what. If the lower-ranked healers have questions, you'll be able to answer them, and you'll also be responsible for training those below you. You have the authority, along with the Royalties, Regents, and Dignitaries, to rank up anyone within your branch. Take pride in having this rank because it shows your love and dedication to healing!
